“The Charis dress from Bridesmaids Only, in a navy colour. It was below the knee dress with a high neckline, I was going for a classy look that wasn’t too revealing for a traditional ceremony. They wore hot pink shoes to match with their flowers.”

Reception: We celebrated the night with a cocktail reception with a three-piece band. Memorable moment was cutting the cake with fireworks and guests were able to leave us a message in our guest book with a fun Polaroid photo.

“Our invitations were designed and printed by Laura at ‘By Invitation Only’ on Etsy. We chose a blush colour for the trifold envelope with ivory cardstock and back calligraphy font. For something a little bit different we included a quirky RSVP card of humorous multiple choice answers. We had trouble getting some guests to return them as they wanted to keep them to show their friends – so they photocopied them instead.”

“I had a stunning bouquet full of white peonies, it was exactly what I had always wanted & was one of the easiest decisions when planning the wedding. We used a fabulous florist out of Newcastle ‘Flowers by Lorey’ – Lorey did such a wonderful job with all of our wedding flowers including the bouquets, buttonholes, table centrepieces & flower sprays for the bridal backdrop. She also supplied rose petal cones for our ceremony, along with delivering & installing the lot on location. “
